Word on the Street

Powell Butte is an absolute gem in the city. It offers a dramatic variety of landscapes, with well-maintained trails in open valleys, lush woods and beautiful fields. You will also get a beautiful view of Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens and the eastern county. Also, for your plane enthusiasts, you can see the incoming jets as they approach the airport. Beautiful!

If that wasn't enough, depending on the season, you can see wildlife. Everything from coyotes to snakes to caterpillers can be seen, making the hikes even more wonderful and special for your children. If you go in the evening, you can also see the stars all around.

One of the wonders of Portland is having amazing natural areas available to us -- enjoy!
