Word on the Street
Swim Jim may be the best thing to happen to water since goggles. Offering classes for kids aged 6 months through adult, the instructors at Swim Jim teach not only how to swim, but how to be confident in the water and always put safety first. In fact, floaties are not used for teaching at Swim Jim at all--this is to avoid a false sense of security in parents and children. Classes can be taught at the private level, among friends or in groups. Younger children require an adult (parent or caregiver) to be in the water with them during the lesson. Lessons are generally no longer than 1/2 hour to keep the children engaged and interested.
