Word on the Street

The Cosley Zoo in Wheaton is a hidden gem in the Western Suburbs. This is a great destination for younger kids who are sometimes overwhelmed by a trip to the zoo (hard to see, too crowded, etc.). This zoo features a smaller collection of animals, including goats, llamas, coyotes and frogs. Kids can get up close and personal in a small petting zoo area. The zoo also offers family-friendly programming where little ones can sing songs and learn about baby animals. Definitely worth the trip.
