Advance reservations are strongly recommended. You can make reservations through the Mint's website. Also check the website for a list of prohibited items. A few standby tickets are available based on a first-come, first-served basis and are available based on no-shows. They do not guarantee a tour. Standby tickets can be picked up beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Mint's information booth on Cherokee Street.
