Word on the Street

The City of San Jose is unveiling a new exhibit during the Mexican Heritage and Mariachi Festival on September 15, featuring works by Miguel Covarrubias, the famous Mexican artist known for his caricatures in American magazines and his support of the 20th century Mexican art scene.  The exhibit runs till February 2011.  Be sure to drop by City Hall to catch his bright, bold murals -- it's fun and not too overwhelming, so it's  a great way to introduce your little one to art!
