Word on the Street

The Lobos Creek Trail was recently restored and is a shining example of how old and new can combine to produce something beautiful.  The trail is actually a little over 1/2 mile of boardwalk that winds through sand dunes and native plants.  It is stroller-friendly and wheelchair accessible, and so flat that even the littlest walkers can get out and enjoy it. The trail is also well-signed and points out all of the native plant species found in the area.  And located just across the street from Baker Beach, you can end your hike with a little splashing around or a picnic.  A delightful little hiking spot for children!
