You signed up for the Savvy Savings weekly email: Last summer, our Savvy team made a list of 50 things we wanted to do with our kids during our precious days of summer vacation. This year, I thought I would update you on what our family did and didn't manage to do last summer.
That adds up to 28 out of 50. More than half—not bad!
Here are a few things we did that were not on the list:
51. Play card games (X)
52. Take a boat ride (X)
53. Spend time with grandparents (X)
54. Read chapter books (X)
55. Make new friends (X)
And here are some things we'd like to add to our list:
56. Go sightseeing in our town ( )
57. Try horseback riding ( )
58. Clean out the toy shelves ( )
59. Work on swim strokes ( )
60. Visit a friend who lives far away ( )
Let's see how we do this year!
How about you, Savvy friends, what's on your list?
