Activity Detail

Here's an idea for a cute Father's Day or Mother's Day gift. Staple several pieces of construction paper together to make a book. Ask your child to draw a picture of her daddy (or mom) on the cover. Depending on her age, you can help her by suggesting a circle for a face, eyes, etc. On each of the other pages, write a question to ask her about her daddy (his age, his job, favorite thing to wear, favorite food, color of his hair, age, height, etc.) and record her answers. Her answers may surprise you and make you laugh out loud! Artistically inclined kids will enjoy drawing the answers to the pictures, too.
