Green craft or tempera paint; treats wrapped in gold or silver foil or a rainbow of jelly beans.

Activity Detail

Help the Leprechaun to hide some gold candy coins or other treats for your kids! Using your hands and washable paint, you can create a Leprechaun trail through your house. Dip the side of your closed fists in green washable craft or tempera paint. Put them down on your kitchen floor, counters and/or kitchen table. To make toes, dip your little finger in the paint and make the toes. The kids will have so much fun finding the treasure at the end of the print trail. For my Kindergarten students, I used to write a note from the Leprechaun telling them he was watching for their good behavior, and I would occasionally leave treats in the cubby of kids I had caught being good for the rest of the school year.
