What makes dinosaurs so fascinating to the preschool set? Perhaps it is the fact that they inhabited a world devoid of humans, and most certainly devoid of grownups. They were free to run amok, free from exhortations such as "time for dinner" or let's clean up your room now." Without any prompting from anyone, my daughter has instantly taken to a love of the dinosaur. While I'm not ready for my house to be invaded yet, my husband swears that this would have made his year when he was a kid.

What's wrong with a big bucket of dinosaurs? NOTHING. Your preschooler will love to open, set up and play with every dinosaur known to man (okay, that's a bit of a stretch). We own and use this great toy set - I love that it comes with its own storage bin, which makes it easy for even a young child to clean up the dinos. It's sort of like a gift for you, too.
