My husband was so excited to find these so he could start on kids loving legos as early as possible. These are a great size for little hands, like all lego toys the pieces stay together perfectly so there's no chance for a creation to tumble over (though that can be fun!). The only drawback is that these have a pretty short lifespan since your kids will probably be ready for duplos at around age 2.

My husband is a Lego geek, and wanted to get our daughter her first Lego set as soon as possible. This was the first set he picked up, and she quickly learned to add pieces to the car base to make her own Lego creations. These blocks are good for young toddlers who are working on basic fine-motor skills. Older preschoolers would probably prefer Duplo blocks instead.

Both my husband and I were huge lego fans as kids, and cold not wait to introduce lego to our children. Thanks to the quatro sets we didn't have to. The size is perfect for young ones to start building without frustration. We can make tunnels, bridges and houses for our cars and animals. A wonderful introduction to the world of lego!
