My kids LOVE this. First of all, they love the alphabet. All we have to do is sing the alphabet and all is right with the world. Secondly, with all the pieces, there's no fighting!! They just don't tire of the little songs, of pressing the letters into the reader, all in all, a great toy.

I bought this when my first daughter was a toddler, and two years later she still plays with it. Now her little sister is playing with it, too. The letters are chunky and easy for little hands to hold, and the song played for each letter sound will quickly get stuck in your head. But it's one of the first toys that helped my older daughter learn her letters, so it's worth the song repetition!

I reviewed this exact set at my Toronto city site and I can't say enough good things about it. Gigi can sing her alphabet and now she is recognizing the sounds that are associated with the letters - all because of this great little fridge toy. She plays with it at her own pace (as in "back off mom and let me learn on my own") and she really is getting this whole alphabet business. We love fridge phonics :)

We got this as a gift for our oldest son when he was 9 months old and we haven't looked back. With its catchy tune and consistency with the Leap Frog DVDs and other Leap Frog phonics toys, the Fridge Phonics began our love affair with Leap Frog.

Peer pressure won on this toy. 2 years ago, nearly every house we went to had this toy and the boys LOVED it. Now that it is on our fridge it is a "magnet" that draws in every child that visits. The letters are nice and chunky so I don't have to worry about them eating them and the magnets are strong enough to keep them on the fridge and not under it.

Both children absolutely adore the letters on the fridge! It is a great tool while cooking dinner to distract them and have the kids learn at the same time. The songs and phrases are catchy and repetitive but that is why they work so well. Leapfrog products are always popular in our home.

This is a great educational toy! It teaches your child phonics with a super catchy song. My son loves to "do his letters" as he calls it, and put each letter in and then lines them up on the refrigerator. He has probably learned 10 of his letter sounds solely from this product. I love it- reading will be a breeze!

"K says Kuh! K says Kuh! Every letter makes a sound, K says Kuh!" The simple song that plays every time a magnetic letter is pressed into the reader might drive grownups crazy, but it really helps my sons remember their letter sounds. When they are having trouble sounding a word out, I say, "Remember the song on the Leapfrog magnet?" Works every time!
