Event Information

Great news, book lovers:  the Baltimore Book Festival, now in its 14th year, gets rolling this weekend at Mount Vernon Place.  Join authors, booksellers, vendors and readers from all over the Baltimore area and beyond at this celebration of the literary arts.  There'll be tons of live readings and book signings, storytellers, and hands-on activities for readers and writers of all ages.  Imagine a theme park whose theme is books, and you'll have a good idea of what to expect at the Baltimore Book Festival.  Just don't count on any rides.  Even though (hey, Baltimore Book Festival organizers, we hope you're reading this!), since we've mentioned rides, we'd like to take a moment to consider some literary-themed amusements.  Maybe a Tilt-a-Ferlinghetti?  Or not?  Anyway, the Baltimore Book Festival offers something for every bookworm, and each signing, reading and event is free.
