Join the Greenway Conservancy and artists of Boston Ballet and the Boston Ballet Orchestra at a special event as we pay tribute to mothers and caregivers.

Schedule of ActivitiesAll activities are free and open to the public

All-day activities:

  • Free give-a-ways (flowers, chocolates and more)
  • Spa/Massage/Yoga demonstrations with local salons and health and fitness specialists
  • Youth games with the YMCA of Greater Boston

Program: 10:30AM - Walk a Mile in her Shoes -a brief walking tour of the life of Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy led by the Boston Women's Heritage Trail. Tour leaves from Atlantic Avenue between Milk St. and State St.11:30AM - Welcome Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and Boston Ballet12:15PM - Music and dance performances by Boston Ballet and the Boston Ballet Orchestra with Music Director and Principal Conductor Jonathan McPhee

    • Tchaikovsky - Selections from The Sleeping Beauty
    • Mascagni - Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana

2:00PM - Interactive dance lessons led by Boston Ballet School faculty
