One of Atlanta's best kept secrets in children's entertainment is "Uncle Grampa's Hoodilly Storytime" at Dad's Garage Theatre. Saturday mornings, Larry Liederhosen, Fritz the Butler, Phineas J. Monkey, and Little Tamo the robot spin the Wheel of Stories and perform a never-before-heard tale for kids and parents. With some not-so-subtle references to Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and other parental pop culture, this improv team gets the audience involved in the show and keeps everyone laughing. Sound cue gags, puppets, and physical comedy add to the fun.
As you leave the show, you'll have the chance to say hello to the cast and puppets on the front porch. And for a post-show lunch, stop by Savage Pizza in Little 5 Points.
