Event Information

Don't miss the fun at Tucker's 3rd annual Spring Fair and Art Festival, April 9 – 10th. This year's vendors include: ceramics, woodworking, jewelry, photography, oil and water colored artists, handmade soap and candles, knitted and crocheted items, copper metal-work yard art, handmade purses/bags, floral arrangements and much, much more. Authors Alaan Schoenher and Corey D. Schlom will be there signing copies of their books Wild and Beautiful: A Natural History of Open Spaces in Orange County and The Untold History, Stories and Legends of the Unseen Orange County, respectively. Enjoy the children's crafts and be sure to stop by and see the puppies from the Coastal German Shepherd Rescue organization and the colder blooded creatures on display by the Reptile Rescue of Orange County organization. Tucker's own Mark Mendez, a Chumasch Indian, will present a fascinating Native American program and you won't want to miss picking up some drought tolerant native plants for sale at the greenhouse while you're at the sanctuary. Finally, be sure to take part in the bird-watching walks or nature hikes led by one of Tucker's own staff naturalist. Download the flyerhere.
