Event Information

Bring your favorite child who is 9 years or older and learn all about summer vegetable gardens this weekend.  Enjoy a free gardening class together, then go home and get started on your own summer planting!  While you are at your class, enlist another family member to take your younger children to ride the carousel or play on the climbing structures at the OCGP.  Then meet afterward for a fun picnic.

The Orange County Great Park is proud to present a series of gardening education workshops in sustainable home gardening practices led by the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Orange County.

Don’t forget your sunscreen when you bask in the sunshine while tending your summer veggies! What do they need to stay healthy? When, how and where do they like to be planted? Join us for all the details.
