Victorian Candlelight Christmas“Sugar Plum Dreams” Returns This Season to Fullerton Arboretum December 4 and 5, 2010
The Victorian Society, one of the many volunteer support groups at the Fullerton Arboretum, is pleased to announce the ever popular Victorian Candlelight Christmas event will return again this year on December 4 and 5, 2010. The 2010 event has been named “Sugar Plum Dreams” for its emphasis on the holidays and how dreams may come true.
Join 50 costumed players for the story of “Sugar Plum Dreams” that starts in the historic 1984 Heritage House museum and home and continues to Oak Hall, where dreams may come true. Along the way, you will be entertained by the sights (cameras encouraged), sounds (lots of music), and fellowship (bring your friends) for a Victorian holiday with the Grand March.
Victorian or holiday attire encouraged, but not required. The first tour begins at 5:00 pm and tours run approximately every 30 minutes. The last tour leaves at 7:00 pm. Admission is $15/person—advanced reservations and prepayment required. Suitable for all ages and families encouraged. Advance ticket sales begin October 15 via the Arboretum website.
