NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and OC Astronomers are back at Carbon Canyon Park. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) mission that launched in 2005 and arrived in orbit around Mars in 2006 will be highlighted. A JPL scientist will describe new discoveries and show images taken by the orbiter and a scale model of the MRO orbiter will be displayed. There will be children's crafts, stargazing and presentations by JPL scientists. Don't miss this out of this world opportunity!
