This week, plan to visit Muzeo in Anaheim with your family. The relatively small museum is easily accessible from anywhere in Orange County and hosts three exhibitions. The exciting new exhibit FROGS delves into the details of the lives of these amphibians.
Explore the world, environment and biological importance of frogs through this fascinating exhibit featuring over 150 LIVE FROGS! Your family will be amazed by the colorful and exotic variety. The sights and sounds of frogs will make your visit to the Muzeo come alive.
After visiting the FROGS exhibit, be sure to check out The State of Blues exhibit of photography and The Holy Art of Imperial Russia exhibit of sacred icons and relics from the seventeenth-century. Although these may not be as interesting as FROGS to your little ones, the exhibits are small enough that you can make it through them without too much complaining. If you have two adults, the kids are easily occupied in the FROGS exhibit while you can trade off visiting the other two exhibits.
Let the kids run off some steam at the beautiful Pearson Park after the museum visit. Pearson Park is located only a couple of blocks from the museum and has a playground, fields and a lagoon. For even more fun in Anaheim, visit Muzeo on a Thursday and plan to shop at Downtown Anaheim's Certified Farmer's Market, located only one minute from Muzeo, on Lemon and Center St. This Farmer's Market is well-known for its fabulous live entertainment and great food, so be prepared to stay and enjoy! Open every Thursday from noon-7:00p.m.
