The entrance to the Seattle Asian Art Museum's Art Deco building is flanked by replicas of a pair of 15th-century Ming Dynasty camels, intended to be clambered on by any willing children. Riding the camels is a good way to begin or end a visit to this lovely, quiet museum, located in Volunteer Park. Exhibits here are oriented towards grade schoolers and older; Summer Art FUNdamentals: Kids spend the summer at Volunteer Park and the museum, exploring a different theme each week.
