It's time to enroll your children in the Summer Programs! Welcome to Summer 2011 where Friends' Central's summer programs have something for everyone! Each camp and program is organized and directed by a full-time member of the Friends' Central School faculty and are located on our City Avenue campus unless otherwise noted. Free play, art, swimming, and science lessons. Sports Academy (Entering grades 3-9): June 13-17 - Basketball, Softball, or Wrestling June 20-24 - Baseball, Golf, or Soccer Download: Brochure | Enrollment Basketball, Reading and Math Clinic (Entering grades 3-10): July 5-July 29 Download: Brochure | Enrollment | Play It Smart Lots of basketball and daily instruction in reading and mathematics. F.A.S.T. (Entering grades 6-11): August 1-5 Download: Brochure | Enrollment Basketball fundamentals and skills training. Team strategy instruction. For many, a week's extension of Basketball, Reading, and Math clinic but all basketball! Jump Start (Entering grades 5-8): August 29-September 2, 8:45 am-12:15 pm. (Morning only) Download: Brochure | Enrollment Designed to help rising middle school students get a jump start on a new academic year. Emphasis is on reading, writing, math, and organizational skills. Summer School (Entering grades 7-12): June 27-August 5 Download: Brochure | Enrollment Small classes and an extensive curriculum make this the perfect place to brush up on English or math skills or get ahead for the next year. Tenderfoot Camp (Ages 3-6): Old Gulph Rd. campus June 27-August 12 Download: Enrollment | Transportation Features art, music, drama, swimming (2x daily), sports and games, nature, and lots of good fun. Trailblazer Camp (Ages 6-12): June 27-August 12 Download: Enrollment | Pathfinder Program | Transportation Offers traditional day camp activities, such as archery, art, sports, music, tennis and swimming. Pathfinder Afternoons allow campers to choose an area of interest each week. Contact office for availability. TEC (Entering grades 5-7): June 27-August 12 Download: Brochure | Enrollment | Transportation A morning option designed for Trailblazer campers who want to enrich their summer experience through computer technology. Campers join Trailblazer Campers for Pathfinder afternoons and free swim. BEST at FCS (Ages 5-12): August 15-19 Download: Brochure/Enrollment Form | Transportation Join FCS girls' varsity coach, David Pettican, and a team of professional soccer coaches from BEST (British European Soccer Training).
