The Lower School Summer Day Camp is a theme-based, multidisciplinary program taught by Ellis faculty. Each camp week includes a diverse selection of indoor and outdoor experiences creating a fun-filled camp day. Daily classes offer a unique balance of activities that may include rock wall climbing, roller skating, yoga, origami, video animation, music, dance and art. The campers are grouped according to grade level and classes are designed to reflect each grade levels individual needs and interests. The Pre-K camp offers a variety of learning opportunities through fun interactive play with a chance to experience and become comfortable in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom. In addition to classroom activities, campers will rotate to music and physical education classes. The camp is taught by Ellis faculty and campers will interact with older campers in grades Kindergarten through Sixth that are a part of the Summer Day Camp Program during snack, lunch and recess times.
