June 20-July 1, 2011 - MOVIE CAMP Mon. - Fri. 1-4 p.m. For ages 12-17 Teachers: Hedgerow Ensemble Whether you like being in front of the camera or behind it, Hedgerow's Movie Camp has something for everyone. Learn what goes into making films as you study the various aspects of moviemaking: acting for the camera, using a video camera, writing for film, and putting together the final product. Camp will culminate in the production of a collaborative film project.
Doo-Wop Wed Widing Hood Camp
June 27-July 15, 2011 - DOO-WOP WED WIDING HOOD Mon. - Fri. noon-5 p.m. For all ages Teachers: Jeff LaBonde and Nicole LaBonde Explore singing, dancing, and acting in this exciting three-week camp! Led by Hedgerow Musical Director Jeff LaBonde and choreographer Nicole LaBonde, students will learn how to make their voice and body work for them through a fully-mounted production of Doo-Wop Wed Widing Hood, a 50s musical, on July 16.
June 27-July 22, 2011 - SUMMER SHAKESPEARE Mon. - Fri. 9 a.m.-noon. For ages 12-17 Teachers: Penelope Reed and the Hedgerow ensemble Bring Shakespeare from the page to the stage in a four-week intensive camp, culminating in a fully-mounted production of scenes from Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. and other works. Students will also present scenes and monologues from other Shakespeare masterpieces. Shows: July 26 & 27 at 6 p.m.
Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance! (A Musical Variety Show)
July 18-July 29, 2011 - GOTTA SING! GOTTA DANCE! (A Musical Variety Show) Mon. - Fri. 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. For ages 8-18 Performances: Saturday, July 30 at 4 p.m. and Sunday, July 31st at 6 p.m. Teachers: Director Loretta Wehbe with Choreographers Bridget Yingling, Nora Meighan and Adrienne Gallo. Join us for a spectacular singing and dancing mega musical. Students will perform to a rousing array of songs from Pop, Hip Hop, Movies, Broadway and T.V. Led by Director Loretta Wehbe, former director of Performing Arts Youth Theatre and one of the Co Founders of The Young Peoples Theatre Workshop at Players Club in Swarthmore.

Develop a global perspective: Hedgerow World Cultures Camps explore such cultures as: Asia, Africa, South America, Australia while learning fundamental performance techniques through the adaptation of culturally specific stories into plays. The camp will strive to engage imaginations through exposure to the literature, music, and dance of other countries.
