The Queens Zoo is offering a fantastic new program for your children and teens this summer!
Eco-Adventurers (ages 5-7) Zoo campers are in for a WILD ride during these week-long summer programs. Children will discover the world of American wildlife through special investigations, interactive games, creative projects, animal guests, and much more! Whether they are slithering like a snake or leaping like puma, campers are sure to take an important conservation message home.
Junior Naturalist (ages 8-12) Campers will delve into the natural world around them during this hands-on program. Each session will focus on the diversity of our American wildlife through games, science investigation, journaling, and live animal observations. Featuring bugs to birds and other wildlife, these fun-filled weeks of exploration will offer junior naturalists a fascinating chance to explore it all.
Teens For Wildlife (ages 13-17) Think you have what it takes for a career working with wildlife? We think so, too! Come and learn about what it takes to care for the animals at the Queens Zoo. Each day, interns will participate in a variety of activities including lectures, special guests, and research projects that will expose them to the animal world. In the second week of the program, participants will have the opportunity to work with some of the keepers and the animals in their care.
