Not to pile on, but there wasn't sufficient room for the children to eat lunch at tables and in chairs, so much of the time they ate on the wet floor. The same problem cropped up during the non-swim time, there were never enough crafts or seats at the table, so kids were left to mill around and stare out the window during before and after care.

I wanted to like this camp. My 9 yr old wanted to love it. He was so excited to go to a camp that was all about the pool. However, after the first day he was questioning whether he wanted to go back and by the end of the second he was begging me not to go back. The kids were ridiculously rough in the pool -- he and other younger kids were dunked, kicked karate-style and grabbed around the neck on a couple of occasions -- and there was no supervision of the children during these times. He was yelled at by the older kids when he got tired in the pool and chose to sit out a game, and nothing was done to correct them. I came mid-day to drop off something at the pool and saw one of the camp counselors napping on one of the diving boards during free swim. I am guessing that the counselors believe the lifeguards will watch the children during these times, but that's not sufficient. The idea of this camp is good, but the application is not. Disappointed.
