Hoosier Tennis Camp for girls

1001 East 17th Street
Bloomington, IN 47408

At the request of some past campers, we are adding a separate pre-tournament curriculum for those campers who play their district qualifier and qualify for the Midwest Closed. Campers who fail to qualify, but are also USTA Tournament level, will be given the option of joining this intense training program.

Our camp is perfectly situated between all the different Team Cup matches being held June 17-19 and the Midwest Closed that starts June 25th. We will prorate the cost of camp for those that have to show up late or leave early because of these events.

Our coaches have coached at six different NCAA Division I colleges. Between them, they have prepared more than 300 players for the NCAA Championships. We will drill, play matches, talk advanced strategy and emphasize mental preparation and awareness.

We will also have a college recruiting seminar. TennisRecruiting.net ranked the Hoosiers' 2011 recruiting class #6 in the nation (one blue chip, three five stars and one four star). Learn from IU Head Coach Lin Loring, the winningest coach in Division I tennis history. Topics will include: NCAA recruiting rules, the college recruiting process, the difference between NCAA Division I, II and III and how to find a college tennis scholarship to match your ability and ranking. Just a reminder, IU Tennis Campers stay in an air-conditioned sorority house across the street from the Varsity Tennis Courts. We also have fun evening activities that are well supervised and include miniature golf, swimming/water slides at Bryan Park Pool, movies at the College Hall and bowling at the Indiana Memorial Union.
