Dupage Children's Museum Day Camps

301 N Washington St
Naperville, IL 60540

For Ages 3-5: Program staff at DCM embraces a learning-through-play approach in the classroom and in the Museum’s Exhibit Neighborhoods. Alternating between low and high energy activities that connect learning to weekly themes, students stay engaged with both individual and group process. A typical day in our program incorporates music, movement, art, math, science, dramatic play, story time and snack.

For Ages 5-9: Play-Well TEKnologies provides project-based programs designed to teach principles and methods of engineering to grades Kindergarten through 4, utilizing LEGO® for over 10 years. Utilizing over 100,000 pieces of LEGO® for each summer camp, they strive to build students' problem-solving skills, foster a greater appreciation of how things work, and encourage the qualities of inquisitiveness, self-reliance, and self-confidence in children.

For Ages 7-10: DCM Summer Mini-Camps are a great way to keep the young minds of children aged 7-10 engaged when out of school for the summer. Hands-on exploration in the scientific method – awareness, tool practice, project plan, build time, test and retest – is applied to three different disciplines – chemistry, carpentry and electricity.
