Camp Shi'ini provides a spectacular summer day camp and my 2 boys have attended since 2011. Their quality of care is amazing and the activities at the camp are stunning. My eldest son loves their archery and my younger son is infatuated with their interactive treasure hunt adventures. You'v never seen a treasure hunt like these. They have costumed heroes and villains, they have battles and all of the campers love it. Then we get a DVD every Christmas for free that lays out the entire previous year's treasure hunt in a movie format. My kids eagerly await their DVD every Christmas and watch it HUNDREDS of times over and over again. Camp Shi'ini is the best camp in Los Angeles County and I recommend you give them a try!

Camp Shi'ini is plain and simply the very base summer day camp in Pasadena. Better than Tom sawyer Camp, Better than SummerKids, Better than any of the competitors. Believe me, I have tried them all with my kids. It's not easy being a single father of 3 kids and I can tell you hands-down that Camp Shi'ini is the best bang for your buck in town. The program is first class all the way. My kids love their archery and swimming. And they have this treasure hunt interactive adventure that is the single most creative element that my kids have ever experienced. We will be back at Camp Shi'ini in 2015 and 2016 and 2017 ...

Camp Shi'ini is the best camp that my kids have ever attended. My son has gone to Camp Shi'ini ever summer since 2010, and my daughter (who is younger) started going in 2012. They have some amazing activities at this camp that none of the other camps even come close to! My kids ride horses and ponies, swim every day, shoot archery, row canoes, hike, build and paint totem poles, go bear hunting (which is not real bear of course but very cool nevertheless), go to the beach, and embark of spectacular treasure hunts and adventures. The camp is appropriate for all kids. My son is 12 and loves it every bit as much as my 6 year old daughter ... who started attending when she was 4. We highly recommend Camp Shi'ini!

I HAD SUCH A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH CAMP SHI'INI LAST SUMMER. OUR GRANDDAUGHTER WAS IN TOWN FROM PALO ALTO AND WE NEEDED A CAMP FOR HER TO ATTEND DURING THE DAY. WE PICKED SHI'INI BECAUSE THEY OFFERED HOME PICK-UPS AND DROP-OFFS. THE EXPERIENCE MY GRANDDAUGHTER HAD WAS AMAZING. SHE RODE HORSES, SHOT ARCHERY, SWAM, AND GOT TO HANG OUT WITH WONDERFUL OTHER CAMPERS. VERY WELL DONE, CAMP SHI'INI! MY HAT IS OFF TO YOU!

It's definitely a top-tier camp, even better than the ones that I attended as a child in the 70s and 80s. Such creative and innovative activities and all so close to our Pasadena home. I endorse Camp Shi'ini, give them a try!

This is a very good camp and I strongly support it and recommend it. They have quality counselors and very good activities. I feel my daughter is safe in their care and it is close to where I live so in case of an emergency I am close. We were in the Santa Anita Mall doing Christmas shopping last month and my daughter recognized one of the counselors from the camp. We were very impressed that he remembered my daughter's name. That really made her day. It'an A+ camp!

This is a very good summer day camp. My wife and I wanted our son to go to a quality day-camp last summer without the prolonged absence from home of a sleep-away-camp. We heard about Camp Shi'ini and my son really liked it. I just signed him up this weekend for this upcoming summer. One of the best things about Shi'ini is their 6:1 camper to counselor ratio, which I found to be very important, and the best such ratio in Pasadena. It's a wonderful summer camp and I recommend them strongly. -Jim McAnallen

Camp Shi'ini is just a fantastic summer camp. It's very well organized and it has better activities than any of the other camps in town. You won't be disappointed in Camp Shi'ini, so try them in Summer 2014! My eldest son has attended since 2008 and he loves it. My younger son started in 2011 and talks about it every day even during the school year. It's an experience like no other and the Hertz Family recommends it highly!!

I sent my granddaughter here last summer and she had a very positive camping experience. My favorite part is how close the campsite is located to our Pasadena home, yet the camp still maintains a very rural vibe. Overall good kids and a top-tier experience. Great balance of fun and order. Will be back in next summer.
