Bellarmine offers an extensive program of sports camps each summer for younger students to hone their skills, or to learn a new sport. 6-10 year olds have the opportunity in the morning to participate in an "introduction to sports" camp, which provides them with wide exposure to a number of different sports in a non-competitive environment. Students entering grades 6-9 have the chance to participate in one or more camps that focus on a particular sport. Each of these camps takes place in the afternoon, so that students attending Bellarmine's summer school can participate after their classes are over for the day. Programs for boys are offered in football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and wrestling. Bellarmine also offers co-ed programs in basketball, soccer, cross country, strength & conditioning, track & field, water polo, and volleyball. Most programs are just one week in length (with the exception of a two week basketball camp for incoming freshmen, and water polo, which runs for six weeks), so students have the opportunity to try several different sports over the course of the summer, if they so choose.
