In this summer intensive, students work with educational therapists developing learning power and building new confidence in reading, writing, math, and study skills. Educational therapy works because it is precise, targeted intervention that helps kids learn how they learn best by using sequential, multi-sensory instruction tailored to the needs of the individual student. Working in small groups, students learn effective strategies for managing time, approaching reading and writing assignments, and understanding basic math in a way that makes sense to them. With educational therapy your child could start out the school year better prepared and ahead of the learning curve.Classes are taught by experienced educational therapists and meet five days a week from 9 AM to 1 PM, with a mid-morning snack break. Group size is limited to six students. Progress will be gauged through pre- and post- assessments.
