Happy Mother's Day to you Savvy moms! You wow us. You really do.
You are wise and kind and forgiving and inspiring and funny and demanding and smart and creative and sassy and tough and gentle and delightful.
And you usually have a snack or a napkin for our kids when we forget one!
But we digress. It is a joy finding our way through this magical, mysterious world of parenthood with you.
And we hope you enjoy your special day. Or, greedily perhaps but we don't think so, a special part of every day. Maybe not breakfast in bed (though wouldn't that be lovely every day...), but something that reminds you of how important what you do as a mom is.
Happy day, from all of us at The Savvy Source for Parents.
I have to share the wonderful gift I received for Mother's Day. After opening my present from my 4 year old and 1 year old, and thinking it a bit odd, my husband told me how it came to be. Like a good Dad, he asked my 4 year old son what he would like to get me for Mother's Day. Fully expecting a reply such as, "A dump truck. A train car. Some play-dough.", my son answered, "Pants." Pants? Yes, he definitely wanted to get me pants. Finding it hard to argue with such a logical answer, my husband searched out one of my favorite (organic) brands and bought for me, pants. My son was thrilled to see me open them. What a sweet kid.
Thanks for helping me be a better Mom!
Happy moms day
Happy Mother's day to all.
Mahalo.
