The lives of grown-ups and children alike are filled with ups and downs.  In general, the little ones cycle through their joys and miseries more rapidly and far more expressively (read loudly).  But we all need a bit of comfort now and then, don't we?  Luckily, as the great Baron de Montesquieu reminds us, the best kind of comfort for all ages can be found right on our bookshelves.
