Family Values and the Preschool Curriculum
Sometimes, your family's values may affect the content you want for your child at preschool. These are frequently subjects, topics and areas of early child development that you value very strongly, regardless of your child's capabilities or interest. Common examples include academic readiness in basic subjects, religion and morals, foreign language acquisition (or native language development for immigrants), and other areas of development: social, emotional, physical, artistic, musical, or the well-rounded "whole child."
