Cookie Cutter Sandwiches
ages 2-6
Supplies
Sandwich fixings, cookie cutter
Activity Detail
This is a fun way to let your kids help in the kitchen and get them to eat their sandwiches. Make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (or something else that would be easy to cut through) and then help your child to cut the sandwich into a shape with a cookie cutter. These are a lot of fun to serve at birthday parties and playdates.

It's great when your toddler can help you make his/her lunches- and it can be done inside or outside

This activity could also be used to help "fussy/picky" eaters expand their palate...offer different fillings like chicken salad. Be careful to use cookie cutters that aren't truly sharp...might be best to use the plastic cutters.
