Masking Tape Bracelets
ages 3-6
Supplies
Masking tape, small "treasures"
Activity Detail
Let your child create his own "jewelry" with this activity! Simply take a length of masking tape, and make a bracelet for your child. Be sure to put the sticky side out. Let him affix whatever tiny treasures he can find on the bracelet -- beads, buttons, small pasta, cereal, leaves, feathers, etc.
Comments
While this activity is nice because it requires such simple, inexpensive materials, the sticky side of tape attracts all kinds of unwanted particles, debris so the bracelet is really only usable for a day or so--at least the way my 5 year old takes care of things. That said, the actual process of creating the bracelet is fun.
