Kaleidoscope
ages 3-6
Supplies
Toilet paper roll, water paints, wax paper, tissue paper, glue.
Activity Detail
Let your little ones create their very own Kaleidoscope and see the wonders of their own work! Paint an empty toilet paper roll with water paints. Cut up several different colors of tissue papers into very small pieces. Glue these pieces of tissue paper onto a piece of wax paper that is approx. two inches by two inches. Once the tissue paper has dried, glue the wax paper onto one end of the toilet paper roll. (Note: It helps if you water down the glue a little first.) After the glue has completely dried, your little one has his or her very own kaleidoscope work of art.
Comments
You can also punch 2 holes (opposite each other) in the top of the tube and attach yarn so your child can carry it around his neck.
