Say Cheese: Homemade Photo Albums
ages 2-4
Supplies
Photos of friends and family; markers; paper; stickers and/or stamps; tape; scissors; small photo album
Activity Detail
Help your toddler remember friends and relatives whom they do not get to see often. Choose or take a photograph of each person you wish to include in the book. Using colored markers, let your child help write the name of that person on a piece of paper. Draw on the name or embellish with stickers & stamps and then tape it to the photograph (do not cover the person's face). Place the photo and name in a small plastic photo album for your child to play with. They will enjoy flipping through their own photo album, remembering relatives, and learning each persons' name.

This activity is wonderful! My son will want to read this book over and over.

My daughter and I used this idea but made a bulletin board to hang in her room instead of a photo album. She loves to point to each person and talk about them.
