On a carpeted surface, push your child around in the laundry basket while changing loads of laundry. They love the ride and then can take their own turn pushing around dolls and stuffed animals themselves!

While this seems simple, the kids really do love it. A popular variation in our house is to hide under the basket. Mom asks, "Where's Baby?" and the basket starts to crawl away. Mom picks up the basket and baby laughs hysterically!

My kids love to do this! I think that it can be expanded to include older children as my 5 year old usually pushes my 20 month old around.

My two year old will love pushing his teddy bear around the house, which will give me a little time to work on laundry!
