Homemade Valentine Cards
ages 2-6
Supplies
Construction paper, markers, scissors, glue, stickers, glitter and any other craft/art materials you can think to add
Activity Detail
Use construction paper to make your own Valentine's Day cards! Cut out small squares of paper, about 5" x 5" or so. Fold them in half to make a card. Decorate with glued on items, glitter, stickers, stamps, markers or paint. Have your child sign the inside and pass out and/or mail to friends and loved ones. A homemade card is so thoughtful!

It's always nice to encourage kids to create handmade gifts, cards etc., but this activity is almost too basic, and is pretty simple to come up with without any guidance. I would come to this site for something new and different to do with my child and this definitely doesn't fall into that category though there isn't anything wrong with the activity.

This activity is something that even the least creative parent could come up with on their own. It is pretty basic, but having said that, homemade cards are indeed special and it is a nice tradition to encourage with your kids.
