Homemade Milkshakes

ages 3-6

Blender, 3 cups vanilla ice cream (cut into chunks), 1.5 cups chocolate sorbet, .5 cups milk, 2 tablespoons hot fudge (at room temperature).

Activity Detail

Introduce your child to the fun of cooking and some early math skills with milkshake making. They can help count the scoops of ice cream, spoon in the fudge, and turn on/off the blender (supervised, of course). The best part, though, is sharing your creation.

Yummy! My daughters really enjoy fruit smoothies, too, which are healthier, but milk shakes are fun for a special treat.
