Sequencing Stories

ages 3-6

Supplies

2 inexpensive copies of the same book

Activity Detail

Buy 2 cheap books; the best kinds are the ones that are the kind that are bound with staples. Take both books apart, and put all of the pages on the table so that one of each page is facing up. Then have your child put the stories in order like a puzzle. A great sequencing activity!

For younger children, you could have one picture from the beginning of the book, one from the middle, and one from the end.
