No Shirt, No Shoes, No Dice

ages 2-6

Activity Detail

Posting a list of rules and responsibilities for your house can be a good way to help your child remember the things that you find to be most important -- and to help your child begin reading. For younger children, you can add pictures to your list of rules and responsibilities, like a picture of a ball if one of the rules is to pick up toys or a drawing of a cat if one of the responsibilities is to feed the cat. This is an easy way to reinforce learning the rules and to make something that seems abstract more concrete for your children.

This is also a great idea to help parents remain consistent in enforcing the "rules"!
