Thanksgiving Journal

ages 2-6

Supplies

Binder or photo album

Activity Detail

Compile a list of questions that you can ask your children every year: What are you thankful for, what's your favorite food at Thanksgiving, what's your least favorite Thanksgiving food, etc. Write the answers exactly as your child gives them. It's amazing the things that kids will say and how much their answers change from year to year. Put the questions and answers pages in a binder or photo album that you can add to each year. As the children get older, they will love to hear you read aloud their answers.

Great idea! Will take a little effort for parents to keep previous answers.

This is a great activity for the whole family. Kids will love the extra attention of asking them the questions and it will be a great keepsake for you. It's simple too, which adds to the appeal.
