Turkey Hunt

ages 2-6

Supplies

Index cards and a marker

Activity Detail

Draw or paste pictures of turkeys on 10-12 index cards. Send the "hunters" into another room while you hide the turkeys. You're now ready to let the game begin! Turn your "hunters" loose to see who can find the most turkeys. As the hunters find the turkeys, be sure keep the cards separated so that you can see who has the most in the end. In our house, the person who finds the most turkeys gets the first slice of pecan pie.

This is a great idea for an indoor activity, but I want the first piece of pecan pie!

Love this activity. It's original and a great way for a bunch of stir-crazy kids to burn off some energy during Thanksgiving. I also love the idea of letting the winner have the first slice of pie. What kid doesn't love to be first?

Great activity to do for any holiday with different pictures (i.e. hearts, Santas, shamrocks, etc) !
