Good Behavior Turkey

ages 2-6

Construction paper, scissors, glue, markers

Activity Detail

Draw a turkey body without feathers on a piece of construction paper. As your child does good deeds, let your child add a feather to the turkey. When the turkey is complete, your child has earned a special reward. This is a great way to kick off the holiday season!

What a fun, creative way to reward and reinforce good behavior.

We're trying this one out and my children love seeing their turkeys sprout feathers. It's a great way to visualize the results of their good behavior - with a holiday twist. Make sure to indicate clearly how many feathers will go on your turkey so your child can track their progress.

My son likes to keep track of getting rewards, so I think this idea is a winner!
