Letter Learning

ages 2-5

Supplies

Paper, crayons or paint, tape, string or ribbon.

Activity Detail

Start by drawing a big outline of a letter on a piece of paper and let your child color or paint inside the lines. Then cut it out and stick it up or you can join it to other letters in an alphabet garland or a special word or name.

I think this activity could be taken a step further to reinforce the meaning/sigificance of the letter. Perhaps you and your child could talk about, draw, or color items on the letter that begin with that letter.

This activity is a cute way to practice learning the letters in my son's name.

How fun would it be to frame the letters to spell out the word love or family or even a last name. Awesome family room wall art!
