Pine Cone Christmas Tree

ages 3-6

Supplies

Pine cone, green paint, white glitter, colorful beads and white molding clay

Activity Detail

Take the largest open pine cone that you can find. With your children, paint it green to look like a Christmas tree. Glue beads on the edges of "branches" and sprinkle white glitter to look like snow. Top off the project by adding white clay as a base of snow for the tree. This is a treasure that your child can proudly display at Christmas time.

You could create a tree for each member of your family. Decorate each with colors, beads, charms, or stickers to represent that person.
