Design Your Own Dinosaur
Paper; crayons or markers; glue; a big piece of heavy art paper
If your child is interested in dinosaurs, have him design his very own dinosaur and call it "(child's name)osaurus"; so if your child's name is Bob, the dinosaur would be a Bobosaurus. After he draws the dinosaur's picture, ask him questions about his dinosaur, such as what does it like to eat and where does it live, and write down his answers. Then type the answers up and mount the picture and the text on a big piece of art paper. What a fun way to celebrate your child's imagination and interests!
