Newspaper, glue, seashells, paint, googly eyes
Every child loves to gather seashells, but what do you do with them all once you come home? This project will give the shells a new purpose and will help your child work on those important fine motor skills in the process. Begin by covering a table with newspaper. Then help your child to glue shells and parts of shells to form animals. Let the glue dry and then paint them and/or add squiggly eyes to make them look more realistic! Great activity for those "special" broken shell pieces that your child just can't bear to part with.
